The moment we stepped onto the grounds of True Blue Bay Resort, I knew this wasn’t going to be just another ordinary day. Matter of fact, it was the morning of my 37th birthday when we arrived, ready to seize the day with our day passes! Nestled along the picturesque coastline of Grenada, the resort promised a perfect blend of relaxation, adventure, and Caribbean charm – and it delivered in spectacular fashion!
Arrival and First Impressions
Arriving early morning, my boyfriend and I were immediately struck by the resort’s stunning views of the bay and surround coastline. The day pass, we quickly learned, was a golden ticket to a tropical paradise that offered far more than just a beach visit.

Amenities That Wow
The resort’s day pass provides access to an impressive array of activities and amenities. A morning yoga session in their tree-house like studio, access to their spa that provides a relaxing couple’s massage, where I also received one of the best spa pedicures! Lined throughout the resort were a variety of pools to take a dip in, an open bar at Dodgy Dock, assisted water sports like kayaking, and more, all creating an unforgettable visit!

Culinary Delights
Lunch at the resort’s restaurant was a revelation. The menu showcased local Grenadian flavors with a modern twist – fresh seafood, locally sourced ingredients, and creative Caribbean fusion cuisine that tantalized the taste buds. Not to mention the cocktails that were carefully concocted by our amazing bartender for the day, Aaron, at Dodgy Dock!
Later in the evening, their weekly Streetfood event had us stuffed, as local vendors from throughout the island set up trays of food and drinks.

Activities and Experiences
What sets True Blue Bay Resort apart is the variety of activities available to day pass guests:
- Assisted use of non-motorized water sports
- Yoga classes with a breathtaking ocean view
- Access to pristine ocean views
- Complimentary use of resort facilities
- Hot Breakfast, 3-Course Lunch + Unlimited Drinks at Dodgy Dock bar
- Use of all FOUR pools

The Little Details Matter
The staff’s warm hospitality truly elevated the experience. From the moments leading up to check in (huge shoutout to Renee), the check-in itself, to every interaction throughout the day (shoutout to Akim at Dodgy Dock), there was a genuine sense of welcome that felt distinctly Grenadian – warm, friendly, and wonderfully relaxed.

More Than Just a Resort
True Blue Bay isn’t just a place to spend a day; it’s an experience that captures the essence of Grenadian hospitality. The resort manages to be both luxurious and authentically local, a delicate balance that many destinations struggle to achieve.
A Perfect Slice of Paradise
As the day wound down and the Caribbean sun began to set, painting the sky in extraordinary hues of orange and pink, I realized that a day pass at True Blue Bay Resort is more than just a temporary escape – it’s a memory in the making. The intersection of business (content collaborations) and pleasure couldn’t have been any sweeter than this!
Pro tip: Bring your camera, but also take moments to simply soak in the beauty around you. Some memories are best captured by the heart, not just the lens.
